On Thursday, April 9th, María de Muns, director in Spain of the fundación Colores de Calcuta, will participate in the conference “India: a country of contrasts and intense experiences” in Madrid.
The conference will start with the screening of “La alfombra roja”, a short film (made by Iosu Lopez and Manuel Fernandez) nominated for the 2014 Goya Awards. It tells the story of Rubina Ali, the Slumdog Millionaire child actress in a slum district of Bombay. After the film, Iosu Lopez, collaborator and friend of Colors of Calcutta, will tell us his experience as a journalist and travel blogger in India. Then we will have the opportunity to share the experience of our work in Calcutta this nine years.
